Do I need to update?
Choose “About Eagle” from the Eagle menu. It will indicate what version of the software you are using. If the version shown is 2.6.2 or less (ignore the number in parentheses) and your Mac is using OS X 8 (Mountain Lion) or later, you should update your software.
If you are using a PowerPC-based Mac or running Mac OS X version 10.4 (Tiger), you cannot update Eagle beyond version 2.1.6, which is available here.
If you are running Mac OS X version 10.5 (Leopard) on your Mac, you cannot update Eagle beyond version 2.3.5, which is available here.
If you are running Mac OS X version 10.6 (Snow Leopard) on a Mac that is not 64-bit capable, you cannot update Eagle beyond version 2.4.9, which is available here.
If you are running Mac OS X version 10.7 (Lion) on your Mac, you cannot update Eagle beyond version 2.5.6, which is available here.
If you later upgrade your Mac or Mac OS X, you'll be able to update Eagle to the latest version without charge.
If you're running the software in demonstration mode, you can update the software, but the amount of time available for testing your demonstration copy will not change. Or, of course, you can purchase a serial number for Eagle.
If you purchased your copy of Mulligan's Eagle from Apple's Mac App Store do NOT install software from this or any other web site over your working copy. Updates for software purchased from Apple are handled by the App Store software on your computer - you should not download an update from us.
Is there a charge for this update?
