Mulligan Software
We value our privacy, and yours. Our policy is that no information which you provide, including your name, address, phone numbers, email addresses, credit card information, or any other information will be used for any purpose other than to fulfill your purchasing request or your request for support.
We will not divulge any of this information to anyone, for any reason, unless legally required to do so, and only with your permission. We do not keep any information about you on our web servers. In very rare cases, we may send you an email concerning Mulligan Software or a product you have purchased, but we will not provide your email address to anyone else.
We expect our distributors to adhere to a similar policy. If you have concerns about privacy of information you provide to our distributors, please see their web sites and/or contact them directly.
We believe the data or information you supply when using our software is yours, and though we'll do what is reasonable to protect it, it remains yours - and your responsibility. Unless you expressly provide us with data to assist in providing service or assisting us or other golfers using the software, we'll assume your data is for your eyes only.
We do maintain an on-line archive of data about golf courses, including complete details about the course and the contents of the facility's printed or otherwise published scorecards. We do this for the benefit of all golfers who may use our software and this data to facilitate golf scoring. We believe this scorecard archive contains only data in the public domain - freely available without restriction to golfers who visit or play those golf courses. We do our best to keep this data up-to-date and encourage our users to assist us in doing so.
Scoring data accumulated by our software is preserved locally on the device on which it was entered, in proprietary database formats. Golf scoring data that is transmitted or received on user devices is typically in open text-equivalent formats (XML, TXT, etc.), and may be exchanged or backed up through on-line data storage services, like iCloud or Dropbox. Although we don't encrypt or decrypt data for storage, retrieval or backup, it's possible the services used by our software may do so.
Whether you’re placing an order on Mulligan Software servers or with one of our distributors, orders are handled with secure key pages that protect the transmission of personal and financial information to us.
Secure pages can be identified by URLs beginning with “https://…” and are shown in your browser with a lock which indicates the data sent from or shown in the form is protected by SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption.
We’ll send you a confirmation email when we’ve processed your order. We suggest that you print your invoice page after you’ve completed your order to serve as your receipt.
If you purchase one of our products through Apple, from iTunes, the App Store or the Mac App Store, your order is completely handled by Apple – we receive no identifying information about you, your computer, or how you paid for the software. If you want to register your software with us you can do so here.
We manage and evaluate the performance, problems, and security of our web site by the anonymized tracking of visitors to our web site by using Google Analytics. Our goal is to know where our site visitors are from, and how they are using our web site to evaluate or get answers about our products. We don’t currently sell anything directly, and our software is sold and delivered (except for some updates for legacy users) by Apple or other software distributors we may engage for the purpose.
Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google. Google utilizes the data collected to track and examine the use of this site, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services.
Google may use the data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.
